Our E36/E46 Rear Lower Control Arm Reinforcement Kit is the ideal upgrade solution for track cars that retain stock rear control arms. The factory rear control arms are often referred to as "salad tongs," and that's because it's what they look like, and basically how strong they are. The fairly flimsy tong-shaped, stamped steel pieces don't stand up to hard track duty for extended use.
Our reinforcement plates are welded on in order to significantly increase the strength of these parts. Welding is required or finished modified arms are available.
Kit includes 4 plates. Arms not included.
