Your exhaust is the most substantial power restriction in your E36 325i/328i and M3. This quality engineered piece features all stainless steel construction and a high-flow straight-through muffler design for more efficient airflow, real horsepower gains, and significant weight reduction - weighs only 16.5 pounds. It mounts to our BimmerWorld Front Y-Pipe and you can use it with virtually any bolt-on E36 rear muffler. Additional muffler flange is also available if it cannot be removed from your existing center section or muffler.Our BimmerWorld E36 3 Series Resonator Pipe by MagnaFlow eliminates the stock catalytic converter for significant power increases and lighter weight for race use. Gains are typically over 20 Hp at the wheels on a 1995 3.0L M3 and slightly less on 96-99 3.2L S52 models. The straight-through muffler design produces a mellow yet throaty tone and a nice burble at low RPM and partial throttle. The system produces a subdued yet iconic straight-6 wail at high RPM and wide open throttle.

The center section is supplied with one muffler flange, just like the factory center section. The second flange should slide off your stock cat section. A new flange can also be purchased separately.
