Our BimmerWorld E36 3 Series Track Pipe Kit by Magnaflow is perfect for those with BMW E36 325, 328 or M3 track cars that don't require the restrictive, power-reducing piping and catalytic converter of a stock-like exhaust system. Our E36 Track Pipe will increase exhaust flow, reduce weight, and make your car sound awesome!
This Track Pipe Kit comes with the race version of our BimmerWorld E36 Front Y-Pipe by Magnaflow. The Y-Pipe is designed with a proper racing merge collector that has primary legs designed to time exhaust gas pulses like a long-tube, equal-length header when combined with your factory exhaust manifolds. Engineering this type of exhaust section to produce power can be difficult, which is why we teamed with the experts at MagnaFlow to perfect the design. The pipe layout looks like a pair of snakes, similar to high-end headers, and it provides genuine power output that is much more noticeable than anything else on the market. The resonator section provides deeper and refined tone without power loss, but don't expect "refined" to mean this system is quiet - be prepared to enjoy your BMW's full-quality soundtrack for everything it has to offer.
Our BimmerWorld Track Pipe Kit with Y-Pipe and resonated center section is designed to connect your stock exhaust manifolds (or shorty headers with stock-exit geometry) to stock or stock-like aftermarket cat-back systems. That means this setup is not only affordable and produces good power, it's also relatively simple to install.
Track Pipe Kit is 100% stainless and fits most BMW E36 6-cylinder cars, including 325i, 325is, 328i, 328is, and M3. Does not fit 323is. Only for cars with manual transmission. The automatic transmission is too large and does not work with this track pipe. While this track pipe is designed to fit with a stock-style rear exhaust/muffler sections, it does NOT seem to work with a Rogue DMS rear exhaust. Most other stock-style rear exhausts fit great!
NOTE: This system removes emission devices - NOT FOR ON-ROAD USE! Off road use only. An oxygen sensor simulator or O2 software delete (not included) is required to eliminate the check engine light in 96-99 cars.
