While the stock piece is obviously functional, it leaves potential power on the table. The sharp corner creates flow turbulence, and the overall shape of the stock part is less than optimal.Designed using the same features as the intake sections on our professional race cars in World Challenge and IMSA, this high-quality silicone replacement hose adds real power and throttle response. With a reshaped profile, more filtered air volume is available, essentially increasing plenum volume. This boot is the perfect add-on for a performance panel filter or performance intake systems that don't replace the factory plastic boot. The high-quality, 4-layer silicone construction will withstand anything you can throw at it for years to come.
Our throttle body boot is intended to fit everything from the stock intake plenum/air box to many aftermarket applications, and therefore the ends will likely require trimming to fit properly and provide smooth airflow for your specific application. We suggest a new snap-blade knife and straightedge for this task - measure and mark twice, and cut once.
