Our solid aluminum subframe mounts for the 1999-2006 E46 323i/325i/328i/330, E46 M3, and E89 Z4 are designed to prevent movement of your E46 subframe that would otherwise allow your entire rear suspension geometry to shift, resulting in sloppy handling. Because all of the rear suspension and differential are attached to the subframe, when it moves so does everything else. A solid-mounted subframe helps improve handling and response without a huge penalty in ride comfort (newer models like the F8X M3/M4 and F10 M5 come from the factory with solid mounts). These CNC-machined solid aluminum mounts keep your suspension in precise alignment. Additionally, on high-powered street cars, these bushings will reduce chassis metal fatigue and structural tearing caused by the constant flex associated with the stock rubber bushings. The stock rubber mounts lose their rigidity which allows the rear floor sheetmetal to flex and tear, leading to rear subframe failures.This set of E46 mounts includes all 4 mounting locations. Our solid differential mount is available separately.
Fits all coupe, sedan, convertible, and touring model cars including M3 (not for use in E46 ti / Compact cars). Also fits 2009-2016 E89 Z4.
