Replace the heavy stock sunroof assembly and glass panel on your 2006-2011 E90 3 Series sedan or 2008-2013 M3 sedan (4-door models only) with this lightweight fiberglass blank. This light weight sunroof delete panel replaces your stock glass sunroof for use on the track, drag strip, or other various forms of BMW racing. You're not just reducing the weight of your E90, but you're removing weight where it counts most (the top) which lowers the center of gravity of your E90 BMW. This gives you better handling, power to weight and handling.Be sure to confirm the rules and legality with your race series or class - metal panels are sometimes required. This fiberglass E90 sunroof delete panel can be painted to match and comes in gray primer, ready to paint. Panel weights approximately 3 lbs, and paint and clear coat will generally add between 0.5 and 0.6 lbs. To install this panel, the factory sunroof gasket must be removed. We recommend using RTV / silicone type sealant when installing this panel.
This fiberglass sunroof delete panel fits all E90 3 Series 4-door Coupes including E90 M3, E90 335i/335xi, E90 325i/325xi, E90 330i/330xi and E90 328i/328xi. Not for 2-door coupes. (See related items for sedan models.)

Carbon may be unfinished or sometimes with a minimal clearcoat (for UV protection). You will not find high gloss finishes here for style points. If your priorities are a show car shine there is no shortage of cheaper carbon-wrapped fiberglass or plastic pieces on the market. These are usually loaded with fiberglass, filler, resin, and many clearcoat layers that make them too heavy or not rigid enough for real world competition use. If you wish to apply a finish we suggest vinyl wrap or a light filler skim coat and then paint. In any case, professional prep and installation are strongly advised.
