Replace the heavy stock sunroof assembly and glass panel on your 2007-2012 E92 3 Series coupe or 2008-2013 M3 coupe with this lightweight fiberglass blank. This light weight sunroof delete panel replaces your stock glass sunroof for use on the track, drag strip, or other various forms of BMW racing. You're not just reducing the weight of your E92, but you're removing weight where it counts most (the top) which lowers the center of gravity of your E92 BMW. This gives you better handling, power to weight and handling.Be sure to confirm the rules and legality with your race series or class - metal panels are sometimes required. This fiberglass E92 sunroof delete panel can be painted to match and comes in gray primer, ready to paint. Panel weights approximately 3 lbs, and paint and clear coat will generally add between 0.5 and 0.6 lbs. To install this panel, the factory sunroof gasket must be removed. We recommend using RTV / silicone type sealant when installing this panel.
This fiberglass sunroof delete panel fits all E92 3 Series 2-door Coupes including E92 M3, E92 335i/335xi, and E92 328i/328xi. Not for 4-door sedans. (See related items for sedan models.)

Carbon may be unfinished or sometimes with a minimal clearcoat (for UV protection). You will not find high gloss finishes here for style points. If your priorities are a show car shine there is no shortage of cheaper carbon-wrapped fiberglass or plastic pieces on the market. These are usually loaded with fiberglass, filler, resin, and many clearcoat layers that make them too heavy or not rigid enough for real world competition use. If you wish to apply a finish we suggest vinyl wrap or a light filler skim coat and then paint. In any case, professional prep and installation are strongly advised.
