Our E30 Budget Short Shifter is made from factory parts - it's the short shift kit that started it all!This shifter upgrade fits E30 318i, 318is, 325e, 325es, 325i, 325is, 325ix, M3 Coupe/Sedan (1986*, 1987, 1988, 1978, 1990, 1991) and E30 318i, 325i Convertible (1987-1993)
*Only for cars produced 6/1986 and later. These cars have the cast aluminum shifter support. Earlier cars had a stamped steel shifter support, and are not compatible with this kit.
This high-quality, affordable short shifter tightens up the shifting pattern in your E30 and gives you faster shifts with a more precise shifting feel, allowing you to spend less time between gears and more time on the throttle. Factory parts mean that the kit has has factory quality.
The E30 Budget Short Shifter includes the shift lever, carrier cup, Delrin carrier bushings, and carrier clip pin. This short shift kit will also fit E30s with the older, stamped style carrier, but the supplied cup will not be used.
