Performance Friction race pads have been the pad of choice for the BimmerWorld IMSA Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge Team since we tested our first set back in our World Challenge days. The fact is, Performance Friction race pads take home more championships per year than any other pad brand on the market, and those same pads are available to you.
PFCs 01 compound is the standard by which all brake pads are judged. This is one of the most advanced race compounds available, with good initial bite and very little torque rise as temperatures increase, so they remain incredibly consistent lap after lap. The 01 compound has less torque scatter at the end of the stop for improved modulation with excellent release characteristics, and the good disc conditioning properties mean low wear rates. 01 Compound is one of PFCs most popular race compounds and wins more World and National Championships annually than any other brake pad on the market. This is the #1 pad choice for most of our racers who want absolute performance.
The mission of Performance Friction is to provide the optimal pad compound for each application that they make. Rather than the shotgun method of developing every pad in every compound, PFC builds the correct pad to suit the venue it is designed for.
- Good initial bite

NOTE on Street Use - These are race and track-use pads. While they can be driven on the street, and many of our customers choose to drive to and from events with them, they are designed for ultimate track performance and their street manners may not meet everyone's demands. If you are looking for a street-worthy race pad, 08 or 06 compounds have the lowest wear rates and noise of the PFC race pads.
